Reader Reviews This is a feature-rich ExerSaucer and fully occupies the attention of our 19-week old. She started in a borrowed Ultra 2-in-1 and thoroughly enjoyed herself there as well. We decided to purchase this particular version because the paint on the 2-in-1 (only two years old, and hardly ever used) was peeling off of the yellow stars and was found all over our child's face, up her nose, and in her mouth one afternoon. This has been detailed in reviews for the "cheaper" ExerSaucers and was a fairly shocking. We debated not buying from Evenflo simply on the merits of their poor quality control in the paint department, but baby's love of said solution overrode our better judgment and we found one without the painted areas over the legs. Although this version does not have the paint issues (pro), it does have a fairly poor construction element in the four red plastic feet that stabilize the unit when you do not want it to rock dramatically to and fro. The solution is poorly designed and the red feet snap off and crack easily. They also prop up the base of the saucer when engaged, taking on--in my opinion--too much weight. We have been using the saucer for two weeks and already one foot has broken along the center support, making it useless and, around all four areas where the feet engage, you can see stress marks where the plastic is warping. This is all caused by the weight of a mere 14 lb girl who uses it about an hour a day. For what we paid for the otherwise well-provisioned toy, I expected better. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
