My 21 month old daughter loves this sippy cup because Barney is on it, however, I don't like it. The main problem is that the lids come off very easily which have made for some very messy spills. I learned this the hard way in the car on a trip to the store. My daughter easily got the lid off and was soaked by the time we reached our destination. After a few washings on the top shelf of the dishwasher, (which I prefer to use for the high heat sterilization) the cups leaked. I realize these cups are intended to be disposable, but since my daughter love Barney so much, I can't throw them away. I only put a little amount of water in them now when I give them to her and never take them on the go.
