My daughter just turned 5, in pre-K, whom loves video games, and likes to learn. My daughter likes this item alot. She thinks of it as her own computer (she received for Christmas), and plays with it all the time. We had to sit down and show her how to work it, since then, she plays with it everyday. She is learning her alphabet and counting. It seems to start out easy and slowly increases the learning curve, "AI". She just started the math section, adding and subtraction. Again we had to show her the concept, and now she is learning it with this machine. This device is very sturdy for little kids and seem to actually makes learning fun.
