    Product Description
The 1 Vs. 100 DVD Board Game by Mattel is based on the hit NBC TV show. Ideal for ages 13 and up, this interactive game allows players to compete against the Mob as they answer trivia questions that range from easy to difficult.

    How it's Played
In this DVD game, host Bob Saget asks players multiple-choice trivia questions, as they compete against 100 Mob members. The object of the game is to eliminate the entire Mob and win up to $1,000,000 in pretend money. The host asks the player and the Mob the same multiple-choice trivia question. If the player gets it right, they win money for each Mob member that answered incorrectly, plus eliminates those Mob members from the game. If the player gets the question wrong, the Mob splits the winnings and the game is over. At certain points, the player will have opportunities to stop the game and leave with their winnings or risk all of their winnings and play for more money. This game is fun for the whole family and provides hours of intense entertainment for one to seven players.

    The Money or the Mob
Taking on the mob is no easy task. Interactive mob members challenge contestants, taunt them, and give advice that may or may not be correct. For family fun, players can also compete against a home mob made up of other players or choose to be in the home mob. Just like on the popular TV show, the money increases the more questions that are answered correctly, but so does the pressure! To stay in the game, the player must answer every trivia question right. But the most important question is, does the contestant want the money or the Mob?

    Product Description
Host Bob Saget asks you to "take the money, or the Mob" in this DVD game based on the hit NBC TV show. Players compete with 100 DVD Mob Members for $1,000,000.00 (in pretend DVD money, of course!). You can also compete against a Home Mob made up of other players, or choose to be in the Home Mob. Either way, just like on TV, the money increases the more questions you get right, but so does the pressure. So, which will you choose when Bob asks the big question -- the money, or the Mob'!

    Reader Reviews
Durability: Fun: Educational: This is one of the better DVD game show translations. It moves along fairly well. The production itself takes place on the set of the show. They even hired an audience and bad actors to pretend they were "the mob". The producers obviously went to some cost and effort to make this game worthwhile. The questions are about on line with what you would see on TV. Although the "helps" leave a bit to be desired. Unless you're paying attention to Bob Saget when he introduces the "randomly selected players", you could completely waste a help. The game play can be a bit slow and redundant at times. Especially if you have a low tolerance for the smug delivery of Bob Saget. I give him credit for trying to inject some personality to the game, but about the fourth or fifth time you here "you're doing great sir... sorry ma'am", you'll want to smack him. This ahead of the "Deal or No Deal" DVD game. And far ahead of the painfully bad "Password" DVD game. Comment | Permalink | (Report this)
