ok, first off the longshot has become known as the best nerf gun ever on nerfer websites has ranges aver 100 feet and the rate of fire of a maverick. however...the people on these sites modify their guns and make them better, to get this kind of range you have to put an extra spring in the gun, and remove the air restrictor. this took me about 2 hours... if you are around 12 or over and can handle taking things apart and putting them back together this gun is a must. but if you are much younget than 11 or so do not buy this, buy a maverick. mavericks have better accuracy at the 30 foot range that this thing gets out of the box and are easer to load. the accuracy problem can be solved by making home made darts to find out how to do this go to nerfhaven,com but do not buy unless you are willing to modify it. sry this review was so long=(
