Buying multiples of Warriors & Soulborgs will change the flavor of your Heroscape experience, no doubt about it. These cheap common squads have the power to annoy your enemy like never before. The Warriors of Ashra are nothing special in attack power, but they will block all damage from a normal adjacent attack if they roll even one shield against it. When they encounter powerful enemies who depend on such attacks for their livelihood, such as Su-Bak-Na, Krug, old Drake Alexander, Kozuke Samurai, and so on, the Warriors will heap a mountain of aggravation on their heads. They can block 10 skulls as easily as 1 and bog down much more expensive pieces in the process. The Deathreavers take harassment to a level the Warriors can only dream of. A squad of four for 40 points, their Scatter power allows two "robo-rats" to move four spaces each whenever one rolls defense dice against an opponent's normal attack. On top of that, they have a normal move of 6 with Disengage. They are game-breakers in range-heavy encounters. They excel at grabbing and holding glyphs, and they can latch onto enemy shooters and force them to waste shots on 10-point rats-- scattering more rats toward the fight in the process-- instead of far more valuable targets elsewhere. Both squads are tough on defense for their cost and will strengthen your armies. I'm docking them a star because many players loathe facing big groups of Deathreavers, and you may find it harder to get a game going until your opponents adjust to the post-roborat lifestyle!
